I am Blythe. My mother gave me that name and she couldn't have chosen more appropriately. Most people who know me will tell you that I err on the happy side, and always find silver linings. Arting brings me great pleasure. I have arted since I can remember. I love many media (although an "expert" once tried to convince me that I should focus on just one) because, for me, the important thing is to get the fullest message across. If that means combining media, then that's what I'll do.
As someone who has enjoyed creating in a variety of media for over half a century, I am well-versed in communicating not only important information but also feelings and moods to others through words and pictures. One of the best compliments ever paid me by a reader of my writing was this, "Blythe could even write about dirt and make it sound interesting!" Not so coincidentally, I find soil fascinating.
My interest in an eclectic variety of topics infuses extra tidbits of fascination and learning into my writing and arting. Since I tend to think globally rather than in a more linear fashion, my longer projects can feel more story-like than dryly technical. I definitely create with an emotional leaning which pulls the viewer into my compositions. I hope that this often leaves consumers sated as though having supped on a surprisingly satisfying meal.

I adore creating custom work and am more than willing to discuss your desires and my possibilities. I generally require a small fee to create rough ideas. A down payment of half the final price is expected at the time of agreement to move forward. Once the piece is completed, the rest of the payment is due. The item will be shipped (or delivered) when payment has been made in full. Due to the personalized nature of the pieces, there are no returns on custom work. If you wish to see more of my work, visit here.
