These gournaments are created from Mini Chinese Bottle Gourds, grown by me from seed, then green-scraped to allow for a lovely smooth patina. Each gournament has a loop for hanging (hence the "ornament" part of the name). These OOAK pieces have been meticulously wood-burned with designs ready for you to leave as is or to color in whatever way you desire. Gourds take most colorfast permanent markers, many paints, and leather dyes. After coloring, you will likely want to finish off with a spray lacquer to protect your finished gourd. These can be hung on the tree during the holidays, at your desk at work, or anywhere they will make you smile.

The tops are finished off with wire loop, wooden bead/s and ApoxieSculpt®. Each gournament is signed by me (the originator artist) and dated on the bottom.

Since every gournament is OOAK (one of a kind). Once it's sold, it's gone. I don't do duplication, but I am willing to create new gournaments that are similar to one already sold.
Gourds are naturally produced and have variants in coloring. Their skins also vary in thickness and texture which can affect the wood-burning process. Therefore, you should expect some differences in line thickness of the design as well as in the color of the gourd shell.
